Weak coal, iron ore demand causes drop in overall operating profits in Australia in 2024-25: ABS

The overall fall in profitability over 2024-25 was driven by a 19.1 percent drop in operating profits in the Mining industry, the second year in a row it dropped with 2023-24 recording a fall of 29.4 percent.
