Middle East conflict fuel price surge spikes household spending in March: ABS

When it comes to household spending volumes, it experienced a 0.7 percent increase in the March quarter, the sixth consecutive quarter of rises, and up 2.8 percent year-on-year, the strongest annual growth since 2023.
