Australian public country-by-country reporting – legislation enacted, ‘specified jurisdictions’ published The legislation to implement mandatory public disclosures of country-by-country tax information for multinational groups has been enacted, as outlined by Phil Beswick, Alia Lum, Tim Keeling, Sean Madden and Amanda Maguire. The legislation implementing Australian public country-by-country (CbC) reporting, for reporting periods that start on or after 1 July 2024, is enacted into Australian law. The legislative instrument which provides the 'specified jurisdiction' list, for which disaggregated country level CbC reporting is required, was registered on 17 December 2024.
