The Federal Government announced an extension of its wage subsidy initiative on 21 July, the JobKeeper payment, which aims to ensure that employees effected by COVID-19 would be supported until 28 March 2021.The extension, a new tiered payment structure, is to be operational from 28 September 2020 and requires businesses to meet updated criteria relating to their decline in turnover.
