NZ Government introduces legislation with proposed changes to GST and income tax

The New Zealand (NZ) Government has tabled the Taxation (Annual Rates for 2021-22, GST and Remedial Matters) Bill which contains more than 100 policy and remedial amendments. Below is a summary of some of the key changes. As always with draft tax legislation, the devil is inevitably in the detail. And at over 100 pages it will take some time to work through.
