Tasmanian Budget 2023

Tasmania’s taxation revenue is estimated to be $1.685 billion during 2023-24, which is a $71.2 million increase compared to the 2022-23 Budget, as outlined by Jenny Lee, Jane Crisp and Priya Singh.

The Tasmanian Budget 2023-24 (Budget) was delivered by the Treasurer Michael Ferguson on Thursday 25 May 2023. The Budget forecasts a net operating deficit of $297.5m improving to a net operating surplus of $61.2 million in 2026-27.
