Victoria Budget 2025

As detailed by Dorian Beaver, Primrose Mroczkowski and Angeline Houdalakis, the Victorian 2025-2026 State Budget has not introduced any new revenue measures and extended the temporary off-the-plan stamp duty concessions to support housing supply.

The Victoria Budget 2025–26 was delivered by the Treasurer Jaclyn Symes on Tuesday 20 May 2025. The Budget delivers an operating surplus in the budget year – the first time since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
