David leads KPMG's National WorkForce Advisory practice spanning Employment TaxesGlobal Mobility ServicesImmigration Advisory Services and Performance & Reward. His teams deliver integrated technology solutions that enhance workforce performance, strengthen compliance and support clients to navigate an increasingly dynamic regulatory environment.

As KPMG’s National Indirect Tax Services Leader, David leads a team of indirect tax professionals who combine deep technical expertise  with industry insight. Leveraging advanced analytics and technology-enabled solutions, his team helps organisations capture savings, optimise efficiency, generate actionable insights and reduce risk across their operations. As part of a global network, KPMG’s Trade & Customs professionals support clients identify cost-savings opportunities and manage trade compliance risks associated with supply chains and global trade activities.

David also leads KPMG Payroll Connect, a team of market-leading employment tax and payroll advisory specialists who work with organisations to uplift performance and reduce risk through integrated payroll and compliance technology solutions. He is recognised for his expertise in pay compliance, superannuation, wage and leave entitlements, supporting clients through compliance programs spanning diagnostic reviews, large-scale remediation and go-forward compliance and governance. 

As Head of KPMG's Fuel Tax Credit (FTC) group, David manages a national team who combine technical knowledge with leading GPS technology, data science and automation to deliver robust FTC claims and insights into fleet performance, efficiency and broader business value.

As the National Head of KPMG’s Global Compliance Management Services, David manages a team that supports multinational companies in the management of their global tax and wider statutory compliance obligations. Through a centrally coordinated managed service they bring together a network of local expertise, technology, innovative operating models and established compliance services framework.

As Chief Technology Officer for Tax & Legal, David leads the firm’s Tax Technology & Innovation agenda. His team designs and deploys digital platforms, technology solutions and new operating models that elevate the quality of client advice and create new sources of commercial value. He is a strong advocate for responsible innovation, data-led decision making and technology-enabled transformation that delivers practical outcomes.

A published contributor to industry forums and business publications, David is recognised for his perspectives on the future of work, compliance and workforce technology. He is deeply committed to building high-performing, inclusive teams and believes in the power of authenticity, curiosity and continual learning to drive meaningful and lasting impact.
